The double Wisteria Crest is the official crest of the Judo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha sect of Buddhism. Two Wisteria flowers form a circle with two intertwining vines in the center. Indicating humility and cordial welcome, the Wisteria flowers are symbolic of brightness and transitoriness. The flowers bloom with the heads hanging down and symbolize humble reverence before Amida Buddha.
