The nearly black color of the wenge wood evokes the black lacquer of the traditional Japanese Obutsudan.  The ambrosia maple used in the door panels and back is named after the ambrosia beetle which bores into the maple tree and gives the wood its distinctive color and pattern.  Three drawers are dovetailed with vertical-grain douglas fir.  Nembutsu scroll and wood offering stand included.  All other pieces sold separately.  Dimensions: 21"H x 13.5"W x 9"D.
