Hand-crafted, one of a kind Obutsudan by Jim Watkins of Kensho Designs.  Inspiring quiet reflection - the warmth of natural woods, the simplicity of contemporary design, made with the care and attention of a master craftsman.

This curly maple Obutsudan features birds eye maple door panels and back.  The base, the drawer and door pulls are jatoba.  The drawer front, sides and bottom are maple, joined with hand cut dovetails.  The finish is premium Kusmi shellac.  It is hand mixed and applied in several thin coats to enhance the natural tone and figure of the wood.  This is followed with beeswax for added protection.  As with any fine shellac finish, care should be taken to avoid contact with alcohol.  Nembutsu scroll and wood offering stand included.  All other pieces sold separately.  Dimensions: 21"H x 13"W x 7.5"D.
